In its February 2026 TB Quarterly Update, the Global Fund reported on active tuberculosis (TB) case-finding in Chad, where the National TB Program is using a mobile van equipped with digital chest X-ray, computer-aided detection, and GeneXpert.
The case study highlights how mobile screening can extend TB services to high-risk and hard-to-reach populations and support earlier identification and diagnosis.
