Mobile Clinics

Transportable screening unit

By delivering certified, off-grid diagnostic services directly to communities, we help ensure that every person has a fair chance at timely, quality care.

Closing the gap in community-based screening

Facility-based services alone are not enough to reach high-risk and underserved populations. Limited access, delayed care-seeking, and gaps between screening and diagnosis lead to missed cases. Mobile clinics bring integrated services closer to communities, enabling active case finding, immediate triage, and faster linkage to care.

Co-creating the future of lung health

Dr. Bethrand Odume Executive Director, KNCV Nigeria

“KNCV Nigeria pioneered the chest X-ray with CAD4TB in Nigeria with WoW truck since 2018 which has been a key in our targeted TB case finding as well as advocacy especially within communities and hard-to-reach locations. Moreover, we are scaling-up digital X-ray with AI for TB case finding thanks to the introduction and pilot of Delft Light Backpack. The pilot had led to what we have been able to do not only at KNCV Nigeria but also at the National Program to help bridge the gap in TB case finding. Digital X-ray with AI has shown efficiency in TB case finding as number needed to screen and test had reduced significantly.”

Chimezie Dimkpa Active Case-finding (ACF) Radiographer, KNCV Nigeria

“Since 2017, I've led a mobile one-stop TB clinic called Wellness on Wheels (WoW) across northern Nigeria, screening thousands of children, women, and men with a digital chest X-ray equipped with CAD4TB, testing presumptives, diagnosing cases, and linking them to free treatment. This hands-on approach has uncovered hidden TB cases, curbed community spread, and ultimately saved countless lives—proving that proactive, accessible healthcare is the key to eradicating this ancient scourge. “
