A study examined integrated screening and testing for TB and COVID-19 in Peru. The study used CAD4TB and showed that integrated screening can help avoid delays in diagnosing TB and COVID-19.
Socios En Salud, supported by Peru’s Ministry of Health and Esperanza Amazonica Medical Program, conducted free TB screenings in the remote communities of Loreto, Peru. Operating aboard a boat, the active case-finding used CAD4TB to rapidly identify TB cases and ensure timely intervention, in the heart of peruvian jungle. Read more about it here.
