Unitaid and CHAI cut cost of AI screening software, unlocking affordable TB detection in communities without radiologists

Unitaid and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) have announced new agreements with Delft Imaging that reduce the cost of CAD4TB, its WHO-recommended AI software for tuberculosis (TB) detection, by up to 65 percent. A single annual fee of $2,500–$2,850 per connected X-ray unit covers unlimited scans, installation, training, software updates, and maintenance across all 138 World Bank-defined low- and middle-income countries.
