Our work in Tajikistan

2021

We delivered 3 Delft Light portable X-ray systems, each equipped with CAD4TB, to the Republic Centre for Protection of the Population from TB. The project was facilitated through the Global Drug Facility (GDF).

2022

We partnered with Medecines Sans Frontieres (MSF) to deploy multiple CAD4TB solutions and deliver user training and capacity building in-country. Later that year, the collaboration expanded with the delivery of a Delft Light portable X-ray system and accompanying support services to strengthen TB screening and triage across remote regions.

2024

With support from MSF, we delivered 18 Delft Light systems and 18 CAD4TB units along with installation, service and training. That same year, 2 additional Delft Light systems with CAD4TB were deployed through a UNOPS-led project. These efforts are helping to close diagnostic gaps and bring timely care to the communities that need it most.

Co-creating the future of lung health

Dr. Nurov Rustam Madjidovich Director Republican Center for Protection of the Population from TB of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan

“In 2022, we received Delft Light and CAD4TB for the first time thanks to our partner USAID. So far, the systems were deployed to screen over 3,000 people who live in the remote areas and have challenges to access TB services. These applications are especially efficient to use in remote, rural and mountainous areas and we have been using the system without any issue. I hope that in the future we are going to expand such a comfortable device which will be very useful to identify TB cases and contribute to the treatment of patients in Tajikistan.”
