The country continues to face a heavy tuberculosis burden
and the gap in access to diagnosis remains substantial.

170,000 people

missing from care

Our work in Myanmar

To address these challenges, we contributed to strengthening diagnostic access through mobile infrastructure and an AI-supported solution.

2017

2 Delft OneStopTB X-ray Trucks were procured by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) for deployment across Myanmar. Each mobile clinic is outfitted with an EasyDR X-ray system, CAD4TB, and a laboratory setup, creating a fully equipped diagnostic environment on the move.

2023

The National Tuberculosis Programme deployed
a CAD4TB through UNOPS.

2024

We expanded support further by delivering 5 additional CAD4TB to help scale up active screening efforts nationwide.
