Adressing TB diagnosis gap,
with Delft Imaging

Afghanistan continues to face major challenges in fighting tuberculosis (TB). Political instability, limited healthcare infrastructure, ongoing conflicts, and poverty contribute to TB remaining a significant public health concern. These conditions hinder the country’s ability to manage and reduce the disease effectively.

developed TB in 2023

25,467 people

with TB were not reached by the health system

Our work in Afghanistan

To address these challenges, we have partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to strengthen access to TB screening services in Afghanistan.
